Our Policies

Free Ground ShippingShipping and Returns
Blindsonline.com offers free shipping for most products to the contiguous 48 states. Deliveries will be made by UPS or Federal Express for most packages under 96 inches in width. For packages that exceed 96 inches in width and for some products where noted on the ordering and installation page a $75.00 per product charge will apply. Oversized packages are usually shipped via common carrier as selected by the manufacturer of your blinds. If you are ordering multiple products it is possible that each product will be shipping from a different location. Please allow ample time for all products to arrive (usually 4 weeks) from the date order is placed before contacting customer service. For shipments to Alaska and Hawaii please contact customer service for an accurate shipping quotation.
Sales Tax
Blindsonline.com is a New York based company. Therefore, any order that ships to a New York address we are required by law to collect New York State sales tax. The current sales tax rate is 8.625% for the county where our company is domiciled. For all orders shipped out of New York State, BlindsOnLine.com will not collect sales tax. Each state has its own laws governing sales tax, and it is up to the purchaser to fulfill his or her sales tax obligation for the state in which they live.
Average Delivery Times (production time + shipping time= delivery time)
Average production time for each product is 2 to 10 business days. This means that some products are produced faster than 10 days and some take a little longer. Shipping time is additional to production time. There are many factors that effect delivery time including but not limited to stock outs and backorders. If any of these conditions occur blindsonline.com will notify you within 72 hours after receiving your order. If you wish to modify or cancel an order after being notified of a backorder or stock out situation please contact customer service within 24 hours upon being notified. Changes or cancellations can not be made to an order once an order confirmation has been sent, given there are no backorders or stock outs related to your order. Because our products are custom made to your specifications no changes or cancellations can be made once your order has been processed by our system and an order confirmation has been sent.
Ordering Security

The security of your personal information is important to us. When you enter sensitive information such as a credit card number and/or social security number on our registration or order forms, we encrypt that information using 128 bit secure socket layer technology (SSL) which is the same security that a bank might use. We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the Personal Information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it.
Ordering Errors
All blinds and shades supplied by BlindsOnLine.com are custom made to your specifications. Due to the custom nature of our products, we understand that mistakes may be made. If you have incorrectly measured for a blind or shade we will work with you to find the least costly method of replacing it. BlindsOnLine.com Inc.is not liable for customer measuring errors.
If you find that you have made a measuring error, please contact customer service.
Returns
Due to the custom nature of our products returns are not accepted. If a product proves to be defective or damaged upon arrival it may be returned for replacement or repair. Please contact customer service for an RGA (returned goods authorization) number. You will be instructed where to ship your blinds or shades for replacement or repair. The manufacture reserves the right to replace or repair the defective product as they see fit. DO NOT return your blinds or shades to blindsonline.com, our facility is not equipped to service your blinds. For warranty returns please refer to our limited lifetime warranty page.
Handling Fee
Blindsonline.com charges a handling fee to offset administrative costs associated with your order. This charge is not a shipping charge.
Pricing Errors
On the rare occasion that a price is quoted incorrectly we will contact you for approval of the price change prior to processing your order.

We value your privacy and will never sell rent or distribute information you provide it to us.
When you order form us we may collect your name, mailing address, telephone number, credit card number, and email address. If you register as an affiliate, we may collect your name, tax identification number, mailing address, email address, and other information that we request in the registration process, and any information that you provide in the "about me" page. If you sign up to receive a newsletter, we will collect your name and email address. When you place an order we will collect relevant information necessary to process your order (credit card number, name & address etc.). Sensitive financial information will not be kept on file more than 45 days.
How do we use your information?

And, if you do consent to receive email from us, we will have a simple unsubscribe option available, along with unsubscribe instructions in every email.
